Form 8862 rejected my return I don’t even have insurance so why am I being forced to provide something I don’t have?

Do you mean 8962?  Be sure you didn’t check the box saying you had marketplace insurance. If not, mail your return.

When the software asked you if you have a 1095A ---how did you answer?   If you do not have marketplace health insurance then your answer to that question should be NO.    You do not have to enter anything about health insurance unless you have had marketplace health insurance from healthcare.gov.

@razarimoxey14 call the Marketplace and resolve.  (google Heathcare.gov for the phone number). They have told the IRS that you indeed had insurance.  

 

when you call, there is a option for 'taxes'.  get to a live person and find out when your insurance began (I know you stated you didn't have Marketplace, but the Marketplace records will show you did) and who and when you were signed up.  Could be fraud and if so, you want the insurance immediately cancelled.
