I’ve searched and cannot find the answer. Does anyone know if “credits” referred to in part 3 summary are tax credits taken on form 1116 and if so, what form/ line and schedule / line do I put down? Thanks!!
Yes, those would be credits from Form 1116 and "Form 1116" would be a sufficient answer. If you know which column (it will be "column a" if you only have credits from one country) you could add that, and you could add the line number if you find it but "Form 1116" will let the IRS know what type of credit you are referencing.
