Form 8962 line 2a
On form 8962 line 2a (modified AGI) Turbotax is using data from form 1040 lines 1 thru 8 for that entry. It should be using form 1040 line 11 for this amount. how do I fix this? Thanks in advance!
The TurboTax calculation is correct. Form 8962 line 2a starts with Form 1040 line 11, but then it is modified by adding and subtracting certain other items. See the screenshot below from the IRS Instructions for Form 8962 for line 2a:
