Form is not accepting date I became an AZ resident. Why not? Lived in WA all last year

In the My Info section when entering your personal information you enter the Resident State as of 12/31/2019, ie Washington. If you did not live in any other states in 2019 then answer the question NO. If you did not make money in any other states in 2019 answer the question NO.

If your mailing address is in Arizona that has no bearing on which states you need to file for a state tax return. Since Washington state does not have a personal income tax there will be no state tax return to complete and file.
