The Social Security SSA-1099 entry forms are not presented in the step by step process. Only get a blank page presented. Had to go to the forms view to find and make the required entries.

You would find the social security entry screen in the Wages and Income section, then Retirement Plans and Social Security, then Social Security (1099-SSA, RRB-1099).

That is exactly what I did per the step-by-step instructions as well as manual selection as you described. However, what I got was a blank page with no form. I was left in that state forever. Exited back to the beginning of the step-by-step procedure with the same result. This also happened last year with the Deluxe version of Turbo Tax as well. I have used premier version of Turbo Tax in the past, which properly presented the (1099-SSA, RRB-1099) entry forms for the step-by-step process. The deluxe version of Turbo Tax is broken. This is for a windows 10 system.

Can you get to your 1099-SSA screen using the search function?

    1. Click on the search icon in the upper right of your TurboTax screen
    2. Type "SSA-1099" in the search bar
    3. Click on the link "Jump to SSA-1099"

Go to Federal> Wages & Income>>Retirement Plans and Social Security  (SSA1099 and 1099RRB) to enter your SSA1099.

See my previous reply to ThomasM125.  The only way I could make the SS entries was to directly access Social Security (SSA1099 and 1099RRB0) forms in the forms view instead of in the step-by-step process. Some users may not know how to do that, if they are used to using the step-by-step process. They my even miss making the entry for SS.
