Getting error 102345 when attempting to reopen TurboTax Deluxe purchased cd from Costco. I had completed a good portion of the return. Want to recover.

My issue is technical. When I try to reopen the TurboTax Deluxe on my laptop, I get an error and don't know how to resolve the issue.

Hi 

 

I have been trying to reopen a 2021 turbo online tax file and getting error printing 102345. How can I open the file? Do I need to copy and save on a different drive?  It seems that only certain files have the same error but not all.  Please advise. Thanks Terry

Attempting to pull up Home & Business from Costco, registered online, partially completed return and now cannot pull it up to complete return.  Error message 102345.

How do I pull the file up?

Are you using the Windows or Mac version?

Is the file password-protected or if Mac version, encrypted in keychain access?

 

Does the error occur when launching the TurboTax program, or does it happen after TurboTax has launched and you try to open the tax data file to work on it?

 

How are you trying to open the file?   It's not recommended to double-click on it to launch TurboTax.   It's best to launch TurboTax first, and then use the program interface to open the data file.

 

Be sure you are trying to open a *.tax2024 data file and not a PDF or a tax data file from a previous year.
