Getting stuck at health insurance question on Turbo Tax with a 1095C

So I get my health insurance through my employer (academic hospital in Massachusetts), which I had all year 2018, and they sent me a 1095C. I told this to turbotax for the federal portion and they said everything is fine and it doesn't need to be reported.

But when I get to the state taxes, it keeps asking me for what type of insurance I have, it gives me the options of private insurance, MassHealth Care, Medicare, US Military, and Other Government Program. My employer's health insurance does not fall into any of these categories (I don't think) but it won't let me get past this step.

Any recommendations?

You should have received a 1099-HC from your insurer. You'll use this form to answer the question in the MA health section. If you have insurance through your employer, that is private insurance.

Yea after much trial and error I found out insurance through my employer is considered private insurance. For some reason I thought private insurance is something you bought on your own through the market place.

Anyway, thanks for the response.
