Hardware failure requires a reloading turbotax program?

If you have a CD and a CD drive then just install from the CD.

If you purchased the TurboTax software from TurboTax as a download then sign onto your download account to download and install the software.

If you purchased the software as a download from a retailer other than TurboTax then you will need to go to the retailer's website.

If you used the desktop CD/Download editions installed on your computer, the only copy of your tax data file and any PDF's will be on the computer where the return was created.  TurboTax does not store online any returns completed using the desktop editions.
