Have not even started and its saying it will cost me 40 and 90 i want the free turbo tax

If you do not qualify for the TurboTax Free Edition, you may try another option.  It's called the TaxFreedom which is an IRS Free File Program delivered by TurboTax.  It is exclusively available online and has its own dedicated website at taxfreedom.com.  It isn't accessible from the "regular" TurboTax.com website and is not the same as the TurboTax Free Edition.  For 2019, if your Adjusted Gross Income AGI is $36,000 or less, you may qualify.  

Whether you are a returned or new customer, very likely your situation in 2019 is not supported by the tax forms in the TurboTax Free Edition.  Especially with the new tax law reform, Tax Cut and Job Acts TCJA, you might need to use new tax forms to claim the same deductions, credits, or forms of income. Some of the situations have been transformed into TurboTax Deluxe and TurboTax Live Deluxe or higher versions, instead of in Free Edition.
