My return was accepted and I received the funds via turbodebit card. However despite this my stimulus check came in the mail in the form of a paper check. A check written payable to mine and his name.

if you filed a joint return for 2019 the check would be made out to both taxpayers. if 2019 was just filed then the IRS used your 2018 return. again if joint the check would be in both names. if you only have a bank a/c in your name only most banks won't accept it. in 15 days you're suppose to get a letter from the IRS about the stimulus payment. you can write back about your issue but first I would contact your bank to see what they suggest.
