Head of household
Can I file Head of Household? I am not sure. I was divorced in March 2016, paid for and kept up our house myself until June 2016 when I sold it. I now live with my parents in an apartment. Am I head of household?
You cannot file as Head of Household unless you have a blood-related dependent. "Keeping up a house" yourself is not enough to be HOH.
