Health Care Obama care. I enrolled in Cardinal Health Ins. HII Tampa FL, not knowing what ACA is and paid ins. for the year. Can I get help?

I called Heathcare.org  and I was told Short Term health care does not qualify for IRS.  I really had no idea I was scammed. Now how to justify it on taxes?  I have contacted numerous emails to no avail.

Not to mention Cardinal Health care ran over 250.00 a month

Can't afford any more mistakes could use some advice thanks so much.

There are exemptions to the health care penalty:

    • Exemptions are available based on a number of circumstances, including certain hardships, some life events, health coverage or financial status, and membership in some groups.
    • You claim most health coverage exemptions on your federal tax return. Some require you to fill out and mail an application to the Marketplace.
    • You don’t have to pay the fee for any month you have qualifying health coverage. If you’re uncovered only 1 or 2 months, you don’t have to pay the fee for any month.
