Question

Hello, I am filling out my taxes. And for Box D Control Number - it shows on my W2 as not being accepted when i enter it and it is not letting me proceed, what do i do?

The IRS does not need the control number from your W-2.  Try leaving it blank.

If you have a copy of your W-2, just enter it by hand and leave the box D number off.
