Question

Hello, I'm retired and collect S.S. and when I am filing it is charging me for a self-employment fee. Why? I'm not self-employed

You might have added your social security 1099-R

Don't know how you got into the Self Employed version.  Did you get a 1099Misc for anything?  Did your retirement send you a 1099Misc for something like heath ins instead of or in addition to a 1099R?

To go back to a lower version You can try to clear and start over
