Question

Hello! Turbotax Free automatically grabbed the state I filed in last year as my state. I've since moved. How do I switch this logic? It thinks I'm moving TO my old state

Ex. I moved from Texas to Illinois in March.  It is prompting me to say when I moved to Texas.  I need the system to prompt me to ask when I moved to ILLINOIS.  How do I switch this logic?

Please go to the My Info/Personal Info section of your return. For your state of residence, put the state you were in on December 31, 2020. If you lived in another state in 2020, then check YES, and enter the state that you started the year in.
