What kind of income did you enter?  If you only  have SS or SSDI or ssi or SSA-1099 you do not have to file a return.  You can't efile a return with zero income on it.

Before filing, you can preview the 1040 or print the whole return

You have not entered any taxable income on your tax return.  A tax return with no taxable income cannot be e-filed, it can only be printed and mailed.

If you messed up and failed to enter income, then click on Federal on the left side of the screen.  Click on Wages & Income at the top of the screen.  Go through the various sections to enter income.

If you are only entering Social Security benefit income on the return and it is the only income being entered, there is no reason or need to file a tax return.  Unless you have health insurance through one of the state Marketplace Exchanges and received a Form 1095-A, then the tax return has to be filed.
