Hi. I got a message on the mass state connector saying that they need proof of who I am, such as an ID, SS cards, etc.... How come that wasn't included in the Turbo Tax preparation? Now I have to mail

Taxing Entities, such as your state, can randomly ask for proof or confirmation of any information on the return you submitted.

TurboTax does not know which returns will be selected by your State (or my IRS) and what information they will be selecting or why.
