Hi!! I'm trying to enter my 1099NEC and it's also forcing me to put it into the MISC position. is anyone else being forced to do that?

I feel like it's taking my income that I was not taxed on and adding it twice. anyone have advice?

When you go through the self-employment section it will ask you if you got a 1099-NEC and you'll say yes and enter the information. It will also ask if you got a 1099-MISC and you need to make sure that you answer 'no'. If you enter the income into the system twice you will get taxed on it twice so make sure that you do not do that.
