Question

Hi, I upgraded the version of my TurboTax app to premium in error. How do I remove this added, more expensive option? TurboTax instructions didn’t work.

This question is in regards to help with downgrading my TurboTax online/app product. I have not filed yet.

    Thank you but these are the same instructions I’ve tried to follow in the past. Whether I’m in my return on the web or in the app, the “Switch Products” option is nowhere to be found.

    @hhilliard1 Then you will need to clear your tax return and start over.

     

    If you have not paid for the online edition you are using, have not filed your tax return or registered the Free edition, then you can clear your return and start over with a lower priced edition. Click on Tax Tools on the left side of the program screen while working on the 2024 online tax return. Click on Clear & Start Over.
