Hi, so i just realized that i answered yes to the virtual currency question at the beginning of my tax return even though the answer is no. what can i do?

Yes, that question is part of the "Wages & Income" tab and triggers other interviews based on your answer.

Click "Wages & Income" at the top of the page

Click "Wrap up Income" at the bottom of the page

Continue through the interview questions to arrive at the "Virtual Currency" question.

@DMarkM1 Thank you for your response! I actually already submitted snd they were accepted my taxes. What else can I do? Wait for the refund then amend? I feel silly but I had nothing to report it was an honest mistake

Amend will not available until mid to late March. TurboTax makes amending an easy process and you will be able to do it online. You do not want to amend untill the original return has been processed.

Amending the return may not make any change in the amount owed, but will give you a correct copy for your recors.
