Hidden Fed to State: Employer name has too many characters - I've never had this issue in years past, what's going on and why can't I get passed this?

State = PA

Edit your W-2 and on the employer name, backspace over the name until there are only 5 or 6 characters remaining. That should solve the problem.

The IRS only looks at the EIN and the first few characters of the name when processing the tax return.
