Enter the amount you paid for home insulation systems or materials designed to limit the heat loss or gain of your home. What type of materials is it? Thank you. Marina

You can have a non-refundable tax credit of up to $1,200 per year for energy efficient property costs and certain energy efficient home improvements, with limits on exterior doors ($250 per door and $500 total), exterior windows and skylights ($600) and home energy audits ($150).

This includes home insulation and air sealing materials as defined in this IRS document.
