Home Office for Two Businesses/Business Mileage Deduction

I have a single home office which I share for two different self employed businesses:

#1. 30 Hours/week of which 25 are from home office

#2. 10 Hours/week at home & a further 32 hours/week as a consultant at client's offices

So questions:

#1. Do can I claim a home office for 2nd business? If not canI claim 100% of home office use for 1st business?

#2. How for each business do I determine the percentage of business conducted at home? (as a percentage of all my time for both businesses, or as a percentage for each?)

#3. If I claim a home office for business #2 can I claim mileage to/from client's office? (I'm there 4 days/week)

Thank you for any answers, they will be greatly appreciated.

You can claim a Home Office deduction for each of your two businesses.  You would allocate % of income earned for each business from your home office.

Or, since most of your Home Office Expenses belong to your first business, claim Home Office Expenses for that business only. See which way works better for you.

Yes, you can claim Mileage to/from Client's Office under Vehicle Expenses for that business.
