Question

How am I supposed to report the stimulus payments? My wife and I received individual payments for both rounds and neither those payments nor the total matches TT dblchk.

I don't know whether to report the individual payment amounts or the total of what we got.

If you file a joint tax return, then you would report the combined amounts. If you file married-separate, then you would just report the amounts you received.
