Question

How can I finalize filing when TT insists that I need a Form 8995A. This form isn't available, nor do I need it because I was not self-employed .

If you received a K1 from a partnership or an S corp or received some REIT dividend that might trigger form 8995 A Qualified Business Income Deduction. The form will be available on 02/20/2020.
