how can i get a refund for turbo tax that didn't work

I bought and installed turbotax premier today via CD.  It installed and updated successfully. When I clicked on start a new return, it buffered for a few seconds, then closed the program.  I reopened the program, reinserting the activation code (as requested) and clicked on start a new return again.  Same result, buffering then closed program.  I uninstalled and reinstalled turbotax, inserting the activation code again, clicked on start a new return; same result buffering then the program closed.  I uninstalled it and downloaded it from the turbotax website, inserting the activation code again; When I clicked on start a new return, same result - buffering then close.  After trying it one more time, I received a message that all available activations for that code have been used - Error code 603.  I spent 2 hours on the phone with technical support.  They pushed a free download to me, but it did not have a new activation code with it, and mine was already used up.  Finally, they told me to return the software to the store (BJs) where I purchased it, and use the online turbotax.  No one will allow the return of opened software, so now I'm out $69.99 and I would have to pay for the online version.  Help!!!??  I need to speak to someone at intuit, not technical support.  Anyone have a number? TIA.
