If you believe your W-2 is incorrect, it's best to contact your employer to have is corrected. If they do not correct it, visit IRS.gov for options or read on:

 

If by the end of February, your attempts to have the W-2 corrected by your employer are unsuccessful, you can request that an IRS representative initiate a Form W-2 complaint. Call the IRS toll free at 800-829-1040 or make an appointment to visit an IRS Taxpayer Assistance Center (TAC). Please note, you will have to wait till the IRS reopens.
