How can I get turbo tax to file my taxes when done if block 13 on my W-2G is blank?

Washington state no state tax. W-2G contains federal ID number but no state ID number.

Box 13 on a W-2 does not report the state ID.

Is the software asking for box 15? If so, select WA from the drop-down.

It should not be needed unless there was state tax withheld,so you SHOULD be able to leave boxes 15 through 20 blank.

However, if the program wants a state employer number, and the employer has none, please enter the federal ID instead.

Also, you might want to review the W-2 entry and make sure you entered it as it shows on paper.

If you imported the W-2, and it continues to show errors, delete it and enter it manually into the program.
