How can i transmit my return?

Open your return and go to the File section and choose the way you want to file (efile or print and mail) in Step 1 of the File section. If you choose efile, go all the way through all the steps until you click on the big orange Transmit Return Now button. You will get two emails. The first one will tell you your return was transmitted. The second one will tell you whether it was accepted or rejected. 

If you choose to print and mail your return, you must do that yourself. TurboTax does not print and mail it for you. It may take the IRS many months to process a mailed return so it is strongly preferred that you efile your return if at all possible.
