How can i turn off the need to get a texted validation code to sign into my account?

i need detailed information on how to get to the correct place to make changes. i could not find it under intuit account settings

Here are the steps to turn off Two-step verification:

Select Intuit Account (in left column - Do not click Take me to my return)
Select SECURITY (under PROFILE) in left column
Select Edit next to Two-step verification
Select Turn off
