If have already e-filed your return you are unable to cancel the tax return.

 

If you have not yet e-filed, the return and do not want to continue with TurboTax all you need to do is log out and not log back in.

 

If you want to start over on your return, you should:

  1. Select Tax Tools on the Black bar on the left side of the screen.
  2. Select Tools on the drop down menu.
  3. Select Clear & Start Over from the Tools Menu.
