Question

How come my refund was different from what it showed on Turbo tax. Almost $2400.00 different.

I do home care which is filed under "difficulty of care" so I am thinking that may be the problem.

Once a tax return has been Accepted by the IRS or a State, TurboTax receives no further information concerning the tax return or the status of any tax refund.

 

If the IRS changed your federal tax refund you will be receiving a letter from the IRS in the next few weeks explaining the reasons for the change.  If you disagree with the IRS changes there will be a procedure on how to contact the IRS.
