Go to the 'Deductions and Credits' section of your federal tax return and scroll down to 'Estimates and Other Taxes Paid'. Click start next to 'Foreign Taxes'.

Robert, I don't see that option at all under my 'Deductions and Credits'. I see 'Estimated Tax Payments' but nothing like 'Other Taxes Paid' or 'Foreign Taxes'. Please help!

In the search box enter, "Foreign Tax Credit" exactly how it appears. This should give you the jump to link to the foreign taxes paid.
