How do I add W2’s ?

If you have not already filed your return, use the following steps to go to the section to enter additional W-2s:

• On the top row of the TurboTax online screen, click on Search (or for CD/downloaded TurboTax locate the search box in the upper right corner)
• This opens a box where you can type in “W-2” (be sure to enter exactly as shown here) and click the magnifying glass (or for CD/downloaded TurboTax, click Find)
• The search results will give you an option to “Jump to early W-2”
• Click on the blue “Jump to W-2” link

If you have already filed your return and it has been accepted by the IRS, then you will need to file an amended return to add more information from additional W-2s.  Be sure that you have received them all before you amend your return or you will need to do a second amended return.  

If your return has been filed and is rejected for any reason, then you can add more W-2s or other information before you resubmit it.
