How do I allocate the percentages for a 1095-a form if I am on my parents policy?

The percentage is however you and your parents decide to split it. All the IRS requires is that your percentages are agreed upon by all and that the percentages add up to 100%. You will enter the parent's social as the person that you shared the policy with.  

 

  • You should reference what allocation your parents took. If they took 100%, your percent will be 0%.
