how do I bypass the schedule c business requirement? I think I entered something wrong and now I cant continue?

    If you don't have a business, you can go back and delete the Schedule C. 

     

    If you do have a Schedule C, then go back and review your entries.  

     

    1. Navigate to the Schedule C section:
      • TurboTax Online/Mobile: Go to Schedule C.
      • TurboTax Desktop: Search for schedule c and select the Jump to link.

    If the above doesn't work, you need to clear your cache (that is, remove these temporary files).  A full or corrupted cache can cause problems in TurboTax.  You can try these steps if you are using the online version:

     

    • Clearing your Cache and Cookies
    • Using a different browser
    • Opening an Incognito Window
