How do I calculate Community Income and Witholdings when MFS.

Can someone provide whatever form I am to use.

    In Publication 555 Community Property there is help with the federal and some state help. You may need one set of calculations for the federal and another for the state. Each state has their own rules to follow.

     

    For the federal, you report half of your community income and all of your separate income.

    For the state, check your state laws or reply for more help.
