I started the return under the wrong e-mail address / account. It was rejected by the IRS. I re-submitted the return under the correct e-mail / account and it was accepted.
No, you don't need to do anything else to resolve the situation.
If your return was rejected and you don't make a correction in the same account, the information will just disappear after the tax filing deadline. It's as if you never filed it at all.
