how do I change address of payee on 1099

the address of payee on turbo tax is incorrect....how do I change to correct addrerss

    The receiver of the 1099 is the "Payee", in this case it will be you. You do not need to change the address on the 1099 section to match with what is listed there. The address listed might be an old address that the payer had when they gave you that 1099. 

     

    ** Just make sure you update your address with that company or financial institution for any future tax documents or 1099's.
