Question

How do I delete my whole account? Turbo tax is pushing me to upgrade and I shouldn't have to and I won't. I'm going to do my taxes on another site for free like tax act.

If you have not registered, filed or paid, you can clear it ---use clear and start over---but just do not start over. Abandon the account.

An online account cannot be deleted but you can remove the tax return you started.

If you have not paid for the online edition you are using, have not filed your tax return or registered the Free edition, then you can clear your return. Click on Tax Tools on the left side of the program screen while working on the 2023 online tax return. Click on Clear & Start Over.
