A Form 1099-MISC cannot be a W-2.  What did you actually receive?

It is a 1099 form from a 401k payout from a divorce. Already paid taxes on the money. I accidentally put it it in an a regular w2 how can I remove this so I can continue?

I keep doing that and it's not being removed should I continue ???

You cannot delete the W-2 from the summary list ?

Interesting that you squeezed a square peg in a round hole ... however just go back to the W-2 input section and delete the unwanted form.

Then make sure to enter the 1099-R in the correct place ... you must enter it even though taxes were WITHHELD on it.
