I switched jobs mid year and I would like to document on my tax exemption forms that I had 2 jobs but I am unsure how to do that--i've looked at it but it seems complicated.

What?   You do not do that.   For each employer you fill out a W-4 that shows that employer how much to withhold from your paycheck.    In January you will receive a W-2 from each of those employers showing how much you earned and how much was withheld for tax, Social Security, Medicare, etc.   Every W-2 received has to go on your SAME tax return form.

Why are you tax exempt?  At the end of the year you will get 2 W2 forms to report on your tax return.

    Cheider23,

Any time there is a change in employment, you should consider completing a new W-4. I am including a link to a W-4 Calculator is user friendly and will be very helpful to you in completing your W-4.
