How do I download a 1099 without signing up for a Turbotax account?

A client sent my 1099 through Turbotax. I have no desire to use Turbotax, but I can't seem to download my 1099, the system just keeps prompting me to sign up for an account before I can access my documents.

You can request your contractor to provide you a printed copy.  They would need to do this for you since you are not wanting to use TurboTax at this time, so that you can still file. The method you are seeing is for the convenience of those who wish to use TurboTax to file.
