Yes, you can print, sign and mail in your 2022 tax return, but it's too late to e-file it from TurboTax.

If you saved your tax return to your computer in the .tax2022 format, you have to open it using your copy of 2022 TurboTax software installed on your computer. Follow this link for more.

If you saved a PDF of your return, you can open it by double-clicking it, as long as you have Adobe Acrobat installed on your computer. Follow this link to get that.

As far as finding the return on your computer, you can use the search tool on your computer, but you need to have some idea what your file is named. If you let TurboTax name it for you, it'll be "2022 LastName FirstName.tax2022".

If you used TurboTax Online, it might be easiest to sign in to your TurboTax account and download/ print a copy from there. Here's how to do that:

  1. Sign in to the account you used in 2022.
  2. Scroll down to Your tax returns and documents at the bottom.
  3. Select 2022.
  4. Select Download/print return (PDF) on the right to print or save a copy.
