How do I e-file my state return when my federal return must be filed by mail?

That cannot be done.  If you file the Federal return by mail, then you also have to file the state return by mail.

Why are you not able to efile the Federal return?

Yeah, I was attempting to contact a CPA pro but it posted my question here instead, ha. My federal return needs information from a box that's blank on my W-2 and says if I can't fill it in that it can only be mailed. But my state return can't be filed by mail and can't be e-filed unless my federal is. Kind of stuck at this point...
