How do I (Estate executor) indicate on 2019 New York State form IT 201, that the person I filed for passed away in Aug 2019?

This 2019 tax form is for the individual for January 1, 2019 up to the date of his death in August 2019. The form is not for his estate.

In the My Info section at the beginning of the TurboTax interview, after you enter the taxpayer's name and personal information, check the box that says he passed away before filing this return, and enter the date of death. TurboTax will enter the date of death in the appropriate box on Form IT-201. It's near the top of the form, just below the address and school district information, on the right side.
