I need help with which to choose. I set up this account for my mom's final decedent filing. I just need to know what to choose, can you help me?

I am assuming she is single, when you set her up an account, you will enter in her name, and then the program will allow to mark that she had passed away and you give a date. Follow the steps below to set up an account for her.

there isn't anything that states a final decedent's tax return

ohh okay, it's only for two months of last year...so which turbotax should I use

Under the my info section of the program it will ask you "I am preparing this return for "X" who passed away" Select Y

Please do not start another return under your account for another taxpayer. It will be overwriting everything in the return you just filed. This will replace your info, which means you won't be able to retrieve your return later. Instead, please follow these steps:

1. Make sure you have signed out of your TurboTax account

2. Go to https://turbotax.intuit.com/personal-taxes/compare/online/ to select the TurboTax product that will meet the needs of the filer

3. Create their account, set up a new login for the additional return (you can use your email address for up to 5 accounts if you want to receive e-file notifications)
