Online, I think the option is in the left column.

For Indiana

"To file an Indiana extension, print and mail Extension Form IT-9 by April 18. A federal extension will also extend your Indiana filing deadline. This extends your filing deadline to November 14, but if you owe, submit payment by April 18 to avoid penalties and interest."

Remember, an extension gives you more time to prepare your taxes, but it doesn't extend the time to pay your taxes. If you have an indication that you will owe taxes you should make the payment to avoid additional interest and penalties.

From the Indiana income tax site:

If you have a federal extension of time to file, you automatically have an extension of time to file with Indiana. You must file your 2021 state tax return by Nov. 14, 2022, and pay any balance due with that filing. While interest is due on any amount paid after the April 18, 2022, due date, penalty will be waived if both of the following conditions are met:

  • You paid at least 90% of the tax expected to be owed by the original April 18, 2022, due date, and
  • The remaining balance due is paid in full by Nov. 14, 2022.

To file an extension:

  • Select FEDERAL TAXES on the top bar menu
  • Then choose Other Tax Situations
  • Scroll down to Other Tax Forms
  • Click the Start button after File an extension and follow the prompts
