How do I file being separated and my ex wife won't give me her info that I need to file??

did you live apart from your spouse for the last 6 months of 2019?. if no, your filing status is married filing separate. without your spouse's SSN you will have to mail in your return and include a note that your spouse would not provide her SSN. if yes, did you pay more than half the cost of keeping up a home for yourself and your child who lived with you for more than 6 months in 2019. if yes, you can file as head of household if the child can be claimed as a dependent. otherwise, you file as married filing separately.
