How do I file Federal taxes if I bought the software from Amazon? Looks as if I need to pay again for the software.

You purchased the 2024 TurboTax desktop edition to download and install on your computer.

You are now using the 2024 TurboTax online edition which you did not purchase and that does not require a license code to use.  Close the TurboTax online edition you are now using.

What version did you buy?   If you bought the Basic version and some Deluxe versions they do t come with a state program.   Or you got into the Online version by accident and not in your program.

If you have a License Code you need to install the Desktop Download program and not use the Online version.  How to install with a License Code
